Lorna and I were living in England for a number of years when we made plans to move back to the Sunshine Coast to raise our family. We enlisted the help of Sunshine Coast local builder Shine Building to help us source land and build a home for our future.
Most of our communication during the land purchase and design planning phase was done via Skype and email and, surprisingly, it was incredibly easy. Steve and his design team took our initial design concepts and transformed them into a reality.
Before construction, Lorna and I arrived in Australia and met with the colour consultant to choose all of our tiles, fixtures and fittings. This process was made really simple by meeting with just one consultant who had everything in the one place! We were obviously nervous about starting our new build, especially having completed the design process from the other side of the world! However, Steve’s calm and organised nature put our reservations to rest. His professionalism, patience, time and attention to detail exceeded all of our expectations. We are so happy with our new home!
